Cool Kiwi

We have learned a lot about Kiwi this term and really appreciate what a special bird we have. These are our fantastic paintings of them. We used a variety of brush strokes to show the texture of the feathers and the background. We incorporated koru into our foliage. We are so artistic, don't you think so?!

Scarab Beetles

Sarah brought some very strange friends to school. We looked on the internet and discovered that they are called Scarab beetles. This is what we thought about them:

Playcentre Visit

We had a great time with Maungatapere playcentre children and parents. We made fabulous rainbow fish and had lots of fun making a big mess!
